I shared a photo of an RV/Bus encampment at Labor Day in your hood, and today I found the same RV and Bus down the road below the Fremont Trail. My question for my Painted Cave friends is: has this been going on for the past two weeks or more. The USFS limits this type of disbursed camping to two weeks. Before I go any farther with this, could someone please let me know if this has been a continuing issue? Thanks!
Hi Gordon! I have seen these vehicles at the pull out just above the PC/ECC intersection off and on for several months. When the National Forest was closed to the public in September is when— I believe—they moved to this spot, just outside of the area that was marked with signage as closed to the public.
