NEWS
Painted Cave is a FireWise Community!
Firewise USA® communities are those that have taken appropriate measures to become more resistant to wildfire structural damage. On April 6, 2023 the Mountain Ember Team fulfilled PC's voluntary criteria required to qualify as FireWise certified. Being certified comes with many benefits including annual participation in fuel reduction efforts to protect Painted Cave, maintains a strong network with the Fire Safe Council of Santa Barbara County, and provides insurance discounts for residents. Download the certificate to receive a discount via your insurance provider.

Amazing Work by the Community!
Painted Cave Rd. Trash Cleanup = 30 Volunteers, 728 lbs Hauled Away!
A huge thank you to everyone who participated in the trash cleanup day along Painted Cave Rd on Sept 21st. In just two hours, we collected a whopping 728 lbs of trash. Just incredible! Our cleanup was coordinated on the same day as the Annual Coastal Cleanup in Santa Barbara. Believe it or not, trash along PC Rd can end up in the creeks and ultimately in our ocean, especially the microplastics. Click here to read more about the 40th Annual Coastal Cleanup, where we were featured in the Edhat article! Share your photos from the day with info@mountainemberteam.com and we'll add them to the gallery of images.
Thank you for your support!
June 2024 Painted Cave Block Party
A big thank you to everyone who attended and supported the Painted Cave Block Party on June 23. We had a fantastic day filled with music, delicious food, amazing neighbors, and a jam-packed silent auction with incredible items all donated by our community and local businesses. An extended thank you goes to the Painted Cave Water Company, the SB FireSafe Council, and Tom Dudley for their support in bringing education and entertainment to all of the guests at our vendor booths. If you'd like to be involved next year reach out to info@mountainemberteam.com
