We had a fantastic training day today - 21 community members came out. We ran hose lays, three different pumps in three different scenarios - hydrant, container, and swimming pool. We ran close to 1,000' feet of hose, with multiple and varying types of different connections. At one point had four different hoses and nozzles running off a single source with resounding success. After today, we are so much closer to implementing our vision, and creating a truly protected community. Thank you so much to all who were able to attend today. We look forward to doing this on a regular basis to create a cohesive and smooth response to any approaching threat. Stay tuned for more info!

Here is the team setting up and implementing a pump driven fire
suppression line along Ogram Road.
Three operating nozzles can be seen in the pic, however, there was one more operating nozzle at the end of the road in the far distance.
The four nozzle line was powered with a $200 212cc 158 gpm Predator pump available at Harbor Frieght. It just goes to show how our community can come together quickly to set up and implement fire supression systems throughout each and every street. More the reason why everyone who is able should be involved in training.
Rob showing the group his pump setup using his pool as his water source. Thanks Rob!
