Thank you for keeping us updated!
County engines and now dozers are being released from the incident. There will be no more updates from me unless warrented.
10-15 acres, with a potential (total acreage at the end) of 50 acres. Not a current threat to our community.
Tanker made a drop 30 minutes ago and went to Santa Maria to refill. Dinner order was for 150 people.
Haven't heard a more recent size up, but they just ordered a third or fourth dozer. Two are staged at Red Rock. Engine 315 is staged at Paradise/154. An additional helicopter lifted off about 10 minutes ago, and I heard they ordered a tanker... and dinner. (No, really). But I have not heard any more about the progress of the fire, or divisions or strategy. They did just place an order for one helicopter and two tankers tomorrow, but it seems like a precaution, and they will reassess at the end of the 'shift'.
Thank you Jessica for the info.
