Someone passed along to great videos from the Los Padres Forrest Association. One is from last year regarding rattlesnakes in general, including 'myth busting'. The second is from June of this year regarding rattlesnakes and dogs, and includes topics of the new rattlesnake vaccine for dogs. Both are around an hour - but are Zoom meetings, so the ends are Q & A's, which account for about a quarter of the time....
Here is "Keeping your dog safe in rattlesnake country" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s84wl4W8jug
And here is "Mythbusting Rattlesnakes: Understanding their Biology to Promote Safety & Peaceful Coexistence" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZMU4cA4u9k This one is especially interesting, if you are relocating snakes off your property and yet complaining about ground squirrels and rats.

They are both presented by the same biologist and contain excellent information regarding some of our misunderstood neighbors.
