It's been a couple of months since it's last appearance but our resident lion decided to do his/her grocery shopping in the community early this morning. S/He casually enters around 2:59 am and is then seen again at 5:06 am leaving with breakfast. I think s/he found a nice raccoon— sure hope it's wasn't someone's kitty.

Great insight Jessica! What a good momma she is!
Did some book looking - Mountain Lions give birth all throughout the year. No particular season, just three months gestation. Average 2-3, but can be 1-6 little 'uns. I'm thinking since this one is taking food somewhere else, instead of eating it on the spot, it might be a mom shopping. It was in the neighborhood for over two hours.
